The easiest way to get started with us
Send an email to support@uneasysolutions.raiseaticket.com. This will create a request in our ticketing system which lives here: Ticketing System. Please make sure that you include the following in your initial email:
- Email address – we know, you started this whole exercise with an email address and we sound silly. Please use your primary email because we’ll follow up shortly with questions to clarify the details of your request and a quote so you’ll know what we intend to do and, more importantly, the cost of those services.
- Phone number – We’re not big on phone calls so this is only as backup method for contacting you or something changes with our ability to work on our agreed upon time. Again, unlikely but will save time and frustration if the need should arise.
- Physical address – Please include this up front as the Denver metro area is a kind of fuzzy concept for some. We include a non-refundable travel charge in all of our quotes and this will change based on distance. Take the travel charge with a grain of salt because if we cannot resolve your issue then that is the only thing you’ll need to pay for.
How we work
We quote out work by issue. What that means is that we cover the complete cost of fixing your issue (including the non-refundable travel charge) in the quote we’ll return to you after your initial contact. We won’t start anything without your explicit approval of that quotation. We can also accommodate handling multiple issues in a single visit; just make sure that you mention that when you contact us.
After we’re all in agreement about the quote then we’ll schedule the work based on your availability. If you encounter any problems with the scheduled time, just let us know and we’ll re-schedule.
If for some reason we’re unable to resolve your issue then you’re only responsible for paying the quoted travel charge. We appreciate simplicity and making sure that you’re not paying too much for too little so that’s designed into the process.
At this time, we accept Venmo and Zelle payments and credit cards via Square. More will come with time but that is what we have available right now.
What We Don’t/Won’t Do
Generally, we will not touch company laptops that are controlled by another IT team or software that is frozen by litigation holds.
Anything illegal or that violates terms of use for software or hardware. This includes things like illegal methods for circumventing license controls, etc.
Most low voltage electrical work unless points of contact are very, very evident and does not include things like cutting holes into the walls of your homes.
Work on either the premises or equipment belonging to people or groups supporting racist, fascist, homophobic, transphobic, or other things we find repellent. One of the key differences between what we do and say operations like GeekSquad market is that we don’t necessarily want to work with people we actively oppose. This isn’t bias inasmuch as not wanting to become nauseated while working.
